How To Qualify as a Franchisee

All prospective franchise owners are processed through our recruiting system. This system has been developed to keep franchise problems to a minimum as well as to inform the prospective franchisee of all requirements in advance.

The prospective franchise owner receives and completes the preliminary application form. The information collected from the initial application will give Delicado's Franchising Canada a broad awareness of the applicants qualifications.

After the completed application is received by Delicado's Franchising Canada, the applicant will first be interviewed by telephone. Then, after a successful interview, Delicado's Franchising Canada will mail the applicant a form requesting a more in depth review of the applicants background as well as additional preliminary information and financial statement. The applicant returns these materials to Delicado's Franchising Canada for review.

Once the above steps have been completed, the applicant will be contacted by our director of franchising to arrange for a personal interview.

Franchisee Support


All franchisees are put through a thorough training course lasting up to 30 days. This will take place while your Delicado's restaurant is being constructed. Your training does not stop after you have completed this course. A representative of Delicado's Franchising Canada will be on location with you to help you from the moment you open the doors until they are closed at the end of the day for a further 14 days.

Human Resources Support:

Delicado's Franchising Canada also provides support with interviewing and selection techniques, ongoing human resource management, and long term staff development.

Purchasing Power:

Delicado's Franchising Canada has developed a comprehensive purchasing program that enables our franchisees to purchase products at the lowest available raw costs while ensuring simplicity at the store level.
